The Department of Pediatric Surgery is a national key clinical specialty, covering neonatal surgery, urological surgery, and hepatobiliary surgery for children. The Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery Center is the largest in Southwest China, equipped with hybrid catheterization laboratories. The Department of Neonatology manages a 120-bed NICU treating critically ill premature infants. The Hematology-Oncology Department provides comprehensive childhood cancer treatment including chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and bone marrow transplantation. The hospital excels in minimally invasive pediatric surgery, including thoracoscopic and laparoscopic procedures for congenital malformations. The cardiac surgery team performs over 800 pediatric open-heart surgeries annually, including arterial switch operations and Fontan procedures for complex congenital heart disease. The orthopedic department specializes in limb deformity correction and scoliosis surgery in children.
